I'm a philosopher of the cognitive sciences.

I'm currently a Humboldt Fellow at the Institut für Philosophie II, at the Ruhr-Universität Bochum, where I investigate reference and accuracy in episodic memory.  I'm also an affiliated member of the Centre for Philosophy of Memory. 

Before coming to the Ruhr area, I was a postdoctoral researcher and a Swiss Government Excellence Scholarship holder in the Département de Philosophie at the Université de Genève. I was also a member of the Swiss Center for Affective Sciences (CISA). 

Besides philosophy of cognitive sciences, I'm also interested in general philosophy of science, philosophy of language, epistemology and philosophy of biology.

My Ph.D. in Philosophy is from the Universidade Federal de Goiás (UFG), Brazil, supervised by Guilherme Ghisoni and James Openshaw. I spent part of my graduate studies as a visiting Ph.D. student  at the Center for Philosophy of Memory at the Université Grenoble Alpes, France. I also spent six months as a Guest Ph.D. Student at the Ruhr-Universität Bochum, funded by a DAAD grant.
