I'm a philosopher of the cognitive sciences.

I'm currently a Swiss Government Excellence Scholarship (ESKAS) holder and a postdoctoral fellow at the Université de Genève, hosted by Fabrice Terroni, where I investigate historical and philosophical aspects of the research on the functions of episodic memory. I'm also a member of the Thumos group and an affiliated member of the Centre for Philosophy of Memory. 

Besides philosophy of cognitive sciences, I'm also interested in general philosophy of science, philosophy of language and philosophy of biology.

My Ph.D. in Philosophy is from the Universidade Federal de Goiás (UFG), Brazil, supervised by Guilherme Ghisoni and James Openshaw. I spent part of my graduate studies as a visiting Ph.D. student  at the Center for Philosophy of Memory (CPM) at the Université Grenoble Alpes (UGA), France, under the supervision of Kourken Michaelian. I also spent six months as a Guest Ph.D. Student at the Ruhr-Universität Bochum, under the supervision of Kristina Liefke, funded by a DAAD grant.
